LPGA LOTTE Championship in Hawaii

Playing golf in Hawaii, does it get any better?  This past week the LPGA has had their LOTTE Championship Tournament at Ko Olina Golf Club in Oahu, Hawaii.

When I think of where I would love to play golf, it would have to be here.  With the beautiful landscape a part of the natural backdrop for the golf course, it’s hard to think of any place closer to paradise than this.

These talented 72 ladies that made the LOTTE Championship cut to finish the tournament on Saturday, April 16, were playing a game they love in a place to love. Ocean views and mountain views offer just some  of the distractions to the game being played.  I know I would be distracted, but enjoying it!

The LPGA LOTTE Championship golf tournament played in Hawaii draws not only the players but the players families too.  When the LPGA  players come here they cannot help but bring the family, mostly because there is so much more to do than just golf.  From hiking to snorkeling to dinner shows, how can you go to Hawaii and not take the kids?

But, we don’t have to go to Hawaii

to find paradise.

Paradise can be found in our own backyard!  Wherever we are, God is there with us.  We can be enjoying a cookout with family and friends,  playing golf, or sitting outside listening to the birds on a lazy day, the realization of God’s handiwork is all around us.  God created this world for us and our pleasure.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. . . God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.”

Genesis 1:1,31 NIV

Genesis means beginning.  The first chapter of the Bible shows us how omnipotent and omniscient God is from the creation of the world to the creation of man.  God saw all that He made, and it was very good.  Sounds like paradise to me!hawaii night

Enjoy the LOTTE Championship

Aloha, God bless!
